SVG logos and icons don’t work in every app, document or social network. Convert them to a PNG of exactly the width you need — a vector stays sharp at any size — with transparency kept.

Sharp PNGs from vector graphics

  • Any size, still sharp

The SVG is drawn at the size you choose, not enlarged from a small picture, so edges and text stay crisp.

  • Transparent background

Areas without a fill stay transparent, so the PNG works on any background.

  • Safe to open

The SVG is shown the way an image on a web page is: scripts inside it don’t run and nothing is loaded from other websites.

SVG to PNG FAQ

Which size should I choose?

Use the size you will display it at, doubled for sharp screens: for example 1024 px for a logo shown 512 px wide. For a favicon, the Favicon Generator makes every size at once.

Why does my text look different?

An SVG that uses a font installed on your computer, but doesn’t include it, is drawn with a fallback font. Convert text to outlines in your design app, or embed the font in the SVG.

Why are some images inside the SVG missing?

For safety, images and fonts that the SVG loads from other websites are not fetched. Graphics embedded in the SVG file itself are drawn normally.

Is the background transparent?

Yes, wherever the SVG has no fill. To get a solid background, use SVG to JPG and pick a color.

Is my file uploaded?

No. The SVG is drawn and converted by your browser, on your device.
